EchelonedWoW's Server Status Blog has now been launched, it will be used to list any scheduled or unscheduled downtime or any general issue that EchelonedWoW should suffer. It will also be used for emergency purposes, should the main site be unreachable. The Blog features a fully functional PHP script to determine the current status of all EchelonedWoW Domains and Subdomains. Make sure to have a visit!

In an hour, perhaps more, perhaps less, #1 will be taken offline to begin backup and conversion of its data to an internal 3.1.x build. Dependent upon the stability of this action #2 may or may not be updated later on in the week. As always #1 has the privilege of acting as EchelonedWoW's live lab subject.

I'll also add open-source community developed instance scripts when the trial can be appropriately labeled as over. This will mean a fair few instances will consequently be scripted - a true sandbox for your enjoyment. I'm prepared to sacrifice stability for this to benefit the funserver; what better method to debug scripts than to test it in a live environment? The 11 million retail players are testament!

UPDATE: #1 is now online. Players are required to be running 3.1.0, 3.1.1 or 3.1.1a in order to connect.

EchelonedWoW's PvP funserver is now active. The PvP funserver development began on January 1 2009 and entered pre-launch refinement period on January 20. The PvP funserver features its own custom scripted world pvp zone (25% complete), accessible to players immediately. For further information on the funserver, refer to "Servers > Funserver" in the navigation bar.

Please report all bugs on our forums.

In preparation for the funserver all GM servers have been updated to 3.0.3/3.0.8 support. This update does not present itself alone, with the promised object/NPC owner system implemented (http://forums.echelonedwow.net/viewtopic.php?f=121&t=3654) and non-donors given limited access to .learn, .unlearn, .removeauras, .npc spawn, .npc delete, .gobject select, .gobject spawn and .gobject delete across all GM servers.

The #3 .learn and .go enabled server has been shutdown permanently.

I'm looking for someone to redesign the animated GIF we have on Xtremetop100 to incorporate our upcoming PvP funserver. Your efforts will be gifted with 1000 kill points on your character when the PvP funserver is released and a recreational GM command of your choice for the standard GM servers.

The banner should make note of the key marketing elements of the funserver and GM server. Mundane aspects such as "level x!" should be omitted. As with all banners on Xtremetop100, it must conform to 468x60 pixels.
