Recently Avari has been receiving quite an influx of players when Terra has gone offline, while most of them are rule abiding players some are not so helpful and have been flooding the world LFG channels. Those who have done this have been met with a week long ban as per our Administrative Directives. This is merely a reminder of our rules, no they have not changed; flooding chat channels is not acceptable and will result in a ban.

Avari now supports only patch 3.3.5a (version 12340), and the Obsidian Sanctum raid has been reopened! Also, there are some new vote point rewards for Avari, so check them out in Account Management in the Avari section of Voting Rewards.

Following this, the Cataclysm realm has been shut down. We wanted to give you a live preview of the awesome things to come on retail, but we respect the fact that Blizzard want to reveal it when the beta is ready, and not before.

Of late the number of users who have reportedly lost access to their accounts has continued to rise. In all cases this has been due to account sharing. If you share your account and the person changes the registered email address or password do not expect us to be sympathetic to your plight if you lose access. You share accounts at your own risk.

It's hard to believe that ~730 days ago this all began. Today, EchelonedWoW is officially two years old, having begun its operation as an all-GM server on the last day of February 2008. Last year our first birthday passed without mention - we'd like to take the time out to do something nice this year. So, for all of you who've been voting, voting rewards have been drastically reduced in cost for the next 24 hours.

Our new Blizzlike realm is now live for live development. Before you begin playing remember this is a very young alpha release starting at v0.1. More than half the world is not scripted and will only be scripted as we progress.

The success of this realm rests not just on myself, but you, the players. As I've said, it's very important you report what needs scripting on the bug reports Blizzlike forum. If any issues arise out of scripted areas, mobs etc have no hesistation in reporting it no matter the priority. If it's an issue it's an issue that will be fixed - that MUST be fixed to perfect the ongoing development goal.

Let's turn Avari into a mirror image of retail!
